Speaker:  Nick Djuric, The Bowden Spratt Law Firm, P.C.

Nick Djuric joined The Bowden Spratt Law Firm as a shareholder in 2017 after practicing trusts and estates law for 21 years at Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP (formerly Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP). Nick advises clients on estate planning-including the preparation of wills and trust instruments and tax and succession planning for closely held businesses. Nick practices primarily in estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax; wills, trusts, and administration of estates; tax controversies; fiduciary litigation; and private foundations. In particular, he works closely with private family offices and their professional advisors on multigenerational estate planning.

As chair of the Legislation Committee and the Trust Code Revision Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Fiduciary Law Section, Nick has been active for many years in the reform of Georgia's law of trusts and estates.  

Nick was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up near Orlando, Florida. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University in 1992. He received his law degree cum laude in 1995 from the Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the winning team of the 83rd Ames Moot Court Competition.
